AWL Group are an NICEIC certified approved contractor. We are now NSI Security Systems Approved, which means that we are fully accredited by the NSI for ALL security and Fire design, installation and monitoring. NSI are the National Security Inspectorate are the approvals and certification body ensuring that accredited companies work is carried out to the highest recognised industry standards.

AWL Group, specialist electrical contractors have recently become members of CHAS ( Contractors health and safety assessment scheme).

Over recent years health and safety professionals from local authorities, with the support of the Health and Safety Executive, have developed the Contractor Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).

The scheme can be used by both the public and private sector. The scheme helps to provide information and allows everyone to know that companies comply with acceptable health and safety standards.

Companies that apply for the scheme are accessed for their competency before being accepted by the scheme.

We are now also accredited with NSI and BAFE



History of AWL Group

AWL Group, more commonly known as AWL, were formed by the amalgamation of two local companies. ASH Electrical Services Ltd and Williams Electrical Contracting and Security, both offering expertise in their own fields of the electrical, fire and security industries. Initially this was to broaden the scope of work and to help increase the performance, but ultimately to enable customers to find one multi tasking company that can be called upon for all disciplines needed for their electrical, fire and security requirements.
